About Me

Profile Picture

I am a cybersecurity student with hands-on experience in IT support, vulnerability assessment, malware analysis, and network security. My background includes both technical work and real-world problem solving from supporting users at scale to completing advanced cybersecurity projects in controlled lab environments. I hold the CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certifications, and I am actively building skills in penetration testing, incident response, SOC fundamentals, cloud security, and secure network design. My experience includes working with tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, Kali Linux, pfSense, Snort, and various encryption, VPN, and forensic tools. Before transitioning into cybersecurity, I ran a small business for several years, which helped me develop strong communication, time management, and customer service skills. I learned how to work independently, stay organized, and deliver results even under pressure traits that now strengthen my technical work and problem-solving in IT and security environments. I am currently pursuing my B.S. in Cybersecurity with a 4.0 GPA while working on advanced security labs and projects, including: • Ethical hacking and vulnerability identification • Malware analysis using Snort, Nessus, Splunk, and Symantec EP • Firewall and VPN configuration using pfSense and OpenVPN • Data encryption demonstrations with VeraCrypt and Wireshark • Hackathon participation focused on securing live systems My goal is to step into an entry-level cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security role where I can continue learning, support security operations, and contribute to protecting systems, networks, and users. I bring a mix of technical ability, curiosity, strong documentation skills, and a commitment to doing work the right way. If you’re looking for someone who is driven, dependable, and passionate about cybersecurity, I’m open to internship opportunities, on-campus IT positions, and early-career roles that allow me to grow while contributing value to a security-focused team. Skills: Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Python, Cloud Security, Threat Analysis.

Projects

Zeus Trojan Forensics Lab

• Performed memory forensics on a Windows system infected with the Zeus Trojan using Volatility, identifying malicious processes and unusual behavior. • Extracted suspicious processes, calculated SHA256 hashes, and confirmed malware and C2 communications via VirusTotal. • Analyzed system changes and registry keys to assess persistence and gather evidence for incident response.
